Google Gears on Linux 64bit.

Wondering why the hell Gears does not work on 64 bit Linux. I don't understand why Google has a small eye on linux. May be it wants the linux users to have their favorite things (tweaking, developing) going on ;)

Any way I found this guy who has tweaked it to work on 64bit linux seems to be very useful for my Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit system :)

One of the things I have felt google has looked upon short is "Contacts and Profile management" It seems google has started working towards it, you checkout my new google profile here And now my profile is searchable in Google Search. Try searching "Krishna Miriyala"
