G2 beats G1 :( I wanted to surprise my love with a G1 as graduation gift. Everything went fine and smiling, until she surprised me with an unlocked G2 as a surprise gift :( Yes, you heard it right an unlocked G2 (HTC Ion/Sapphire model) and the touch keyboard works pretty cool and luckily no data bills and 2 year contracts :). One of the things I have felt google has looked upon short is "Contacts and Profile management" It seems google has started working towards it, you checkout my new google profile here And now my profile is searchable in Google Search. Try searching "Krishna Miriyala"

Google Gears on Linux 64bit. Wondering why the hell Gears does not work on 64 bit Linux. I don't understand why Google has a small eye on linux. May be it wants the linux users to have their favorite things (tweaking, developing) going on ;) Any way I found this guy who has tweaked it to work on 64bit linux seems to be very useful for my Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit system :) Google Gears 64bit
