Syntax vs Logic

Just got an idea while preparing for interview ...
Does the knowledge in a syntax/grammar for a programming language really beat the logical knowledge. I was preparing for lab interview who has asked for php, perl, cgi, bash, html, sql etc ... skillset. I knew syntax only for C language, no other language.

Will I be able to convince the interviewer is the question, with my logical knowledge ?

First round of interview seems to have gone thru, will see what happen with the rest?
Will wait n see and for the remaining interview rounds and let you know.

One of the things I have felt google has looked upon short is "Contacts and Profile management" It seems google has started working towards it, you checkout my new google profile here And now my profile is searchable in Google Search. Try searching "Krishna Miriyala"
